Hey guys! Just thought I would share my recent experience. I dropped my 2017 Model X 90D (41,000 miles) with EAP/FSD and MCU1 off at my local service center yesterday to have the following work done;
drivers side control arm replacement (warranty covered) - horrible creaking/squeaking (had the passenger side done in Dec. 2-19). This is not the half shaft issue....I already had that done!
Rubber roof seals replaced (warranty covered) - all of the roof glass rubber seals had literally started to deteriorate.
New windshield wipers (not warranty)
replace drivers side rear load floor support (Not warranty) - I managed to break it
FSD install (purchased the upgrade from enhanced autopilot last year)
MCU2 upgrade
got the car back at the end of the day today.......just over 24 hours!! I am pretty impressed with the turnaround time, in addition to the new MCU2 features, speed, responsiveness and FSD traffic lights, stop signs, etc.
question - can I now use a thumb drive for sentry and record video clips??
