FSD old order, old pricing, worth it?

I am picking up this week and I can get the FSD for 10k instead of 15k.

Should I go for it?

Does it add any resale value?

I tried it in the past using the subscription service and the only thing I really liked was the lane change feature. I had qualified for beta as well, but it dis not feel safe. (End of 2021)

I would just buy it because it is 5k less than current price (basically MOFO)

If you tried it and all you liked was the lane change feature, ask yourself: Is the lane change feature worth $10k to you? I think this is an easy answer.

I have FSD on a M3, even latest release isn't trustworthy.
I have a MX, waiting 3 months for FSD, even with Safety Score of 97, still hasn't arrived.

I have a MY on order to replace to the M3. I just took FSD off and left it with EAP.
Fool me once, twice, but not a third time.

EAP is all you need. It has the lane change feature too.

Since FSD is an unfinished product, paying a small monthly rent once in a while would make sense to satisfy the unfinished-product tester addiction.

No. If you really have to get rid of money and absolutely do not have anywhere to spend, you can buy the FSD.
I will pay and buy the full FSD when I can do level 5 vehicle autonomy.
