Hey guys just wondering how you'd spend your time driving to and from work if the regulators gave full automation the green light tomorrow ?. I reckon there's going to be a bunch of custom car desks and products aimed at helping people make the most of their free time and I think cars might eventually evolve into all kinds of weird and wacky rolling ventures. Anyways I guess I'm wondering if any of you would consider getting a haircut, using a rowing machine or using the car for anything else along those lines ? I know Volkswagen or someone have already drawn up a bunch of futuristic transportation concepts and I wanted to know what other types of innovation you think automated Tesla's might lead to ?
Sleeping, browsing TMC, shaving, reading and replying to email. Steering wheel is a bit of a problem for laptop usage. Can move seat back and recline for enough laptop space. Ten years away. I wonder if city technology will evolve first. Bridges between buildings, with small electric mobility devices that lesson the need for cars.
