Finally got around to fully detailing the car after over a year of just normal maintenance washes/quick sealers.
Wash - 1hr
Decon - 1hr; Iron-X and Autoscrub pad (clay bar equivalent)
Tape/Paint Prep - 30mins; Wolfgang Perfekt Finish
Paint Correction - 4hrs; Meguiar’s Microfiber cutting disc/Correction Compound on a Porter Cable 7424XP DA
LSP - 30mins; Perfekt Finish once again before Opti-Gloss sealant
Happy with how things turned out. Still some deeper scratches, but I’d say 85%+ final results. Midnight Silver Metallic hides imperfections really well. I couldn’t even get decent 50/50 panel before/after shots. Got a bottle of Chemical Guys Hydro Wax, which is supposedly suitable for layering, so I’ll prob put a coat on top of the Opti-Gloss.
