I debated whether it made sense to spend ~10% of the value of a car on PPF. In short it probably does not but it looks great and I'm glad I did it anyway. It's a fine line between bad ass and douchey when it comes to wraps and I was a bit nervous as to how this would come out. It didn't help that I struggled to find good photos of a black Model Y with a full stealth wrap so for those who are considering it - below are some images of mine.
Also the black (which was the free color when I ordered) is a bit fingerprint prone. Just closing the hood used to leave a smudge. This is one way to fix that.

I did the same and felt the same about the douchey-ness! Haha! Also had no luck finding pics before I brought her in. I have no good pics yet because taking my car out on a photo shoot is also very not me, but I am so glad I went with the matte finish! Mine is the Suntek Matte though. These are just from right after I brought her home and the Igor was fading.5DBC0488-3C2B-4F49-9B96-9E44656EACE1.jpeg157B8802-A950-4D55-9989-F18B7E4FF089.jpeg4B6B0074-3535-44B1-AAE0-6B6AA22B052A.jpeg

Does the matte finish feel different than the normal ppf? I like the look of matte finish, but don't know if it feel smooth like normal ppf or not.

I went with Stek Dynomatt cause it has built in hydrophobic coating in the film so there was no need for ceramic. I feel like Stek looks more satin vs matte due to the hydrophobic layer.

Sounds about right, I was quoted $4500 for a full Xpel wrap by an authorized Xpel installer here in SoCal.
