Side note: For those that didn't realize, Andy Palmer came from Nissan a few years ago.

However none of the listed cars match a fully-equipped Model S for less than 3 times the price, and most of them not even then. They also get the 0-60 time for the Roadster wrong.

Aston Martin’s first electric car is finally here

The specifications are not very good, and in some cases are not even credible for anyone who actually drives a Tesla in real life. The range and charging numbers are just fiction.

Looks like Aston-Martin finally have an electric "strategy", just not a very good one.

They are taking a body designed for a V12 engine and filling the front engine compartment with batteries.
Net result is a car which will do 155mph but have an EPA range of (maybe) 150 miles.
So basically a low volume (even by A-M's standards) luxury commuter-range car using their Lagonda brand

If you do ever get it close to top speed, the moment you get there you'll have to start looking for somewhere to recharge.

Amazing disappointing.
