Okay, by now I'm sure some of you are tired of my rants about the Model 3 not being a liftback. If the initial model isn't, I'm coming to grips with that reality. However, I believe there will be multiple variations on the Model 3, including the known Model Y. I think there may be an in-between model between the 3 and Y. I'm calling it the 3+. Yes, part of it is wishful thinking on my part, but I think we may see a liftback variant of the 3 that doesn't go as far as a full-fledged crossover, with conventional rear doors, but a wide-opening rear cargo aperture. Hoping it won't just be a fantasy.
