My Right Side FWD sits a couple of millimetres too low. It was low enough to crease the rubber air seal on the leading edge of top glass and split the seal.
(NOTE: that the top glass seals are faulty and have no UV inhibitor, so they are going to eventually crumble away on you if your car is in the sun a lot).
I haven't found any official documentation on FWD alignment practices so I took a look myself and printed up some shims from Flexible TPE. They are 8mm wide and 70mm long and I tested three thicknesses, 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5mm.
Under the top panel leading edge of the FWD there's what looks like a rubber bump stop. I used double sided tape to place the printed part on the car frame where the bump stop lands. The idea seems to have generally fixed the slightly low point where the seal bends, however as the leading edge is stiff and slightly curved, it is now raised ever so slightly in the middle of the curve. Also, under the rubber bum stop cover there's a plastic base component with the number 1 printed on it. I wonder if different thicknesses of this are available?
I think the best way to attack this issue however, is to see if the roof panel in front of the door can be adjusted down a little. I havn't tried pulling it apart yet, but I'm willing to try.
