FYI: 8.0 Software Bug Confirmed

    FYI--I just spoke to a Receptionist at the local Service Center (Rocklin, CA) about my Tesla X starting and running on its own and being nearly impossible to turn off--even when powering down from the touchscreen. He mentioned that there is a BUG in the Software and they are receiving a number of complaints/calls. According to the Tesla employee, the Software will be patched in the next few hours to address these issues.

    I did, but I turned it off--as my schedule varies too wildly to benefit from X's predictive capabilities. BTW, my front seat sensor was defective; the SC ordered a replacement for me @ 3.5 weeks ago. They said it will take at least 6-8 weeks to get the (complete) new seat.
