Garage Door Opener - can it be moved to another Model Y?

Ordered a new MYLR- 7 Seater last night. Given I doubt the garage door opener I had Tesla install into my current Model Y has any value to one of the car buying companies, I plan to sell to in September, wondering if it can be removed and installed in my new Model Y?

When I sold my previous vehicles to CarMax their appraisal tool was pretty comprehensive. Just point out that the vehicle has the Homelink option installed (a $325 value.) They should consider that in the offer. This would also apply to things like the factory Tow Hitch option. These increase the resale value of the vehicle. Aftermarket parts and accessories would probably not be considered. Software options such as FSD or AB are a bit tricky. If the software upgrade conveys to the new owner then it should be considered in the price that they are willing to pay for the vehicle.
