Gas Strut - auto open frunk

That’s a power frunk. The video I attached only opens the trunk all the way and does not close. I see they sell the shocks only for the M3. Just curious if anyone tried it on the MY.

I’m curios if they ones made for M3 will fit the MY. Hopefully someone has info on this

I installed the power ‘frunk’ kit and love it!
Works as advertised.
Only (non) issue, it refused to open after car wash when temps were sub zero. (Frozen shut). Corrected itself later in day when sun thawed it out
