Hey all. I'm thinking I may not install in current home, so, I may sell. If I were to sell, and albeit not a sticking point, I'd prefer local pickup, probably with wire transfer or bank to bank.

Top dollar . But seriously, great question. From what I've come to understand, Tesla prices the mainstream white one at $7,000 (they raised it $500 and there's a shortage of PWs), plus accompanying hardware at $1,100. Unsure if red holds any value to people. Also unsure if there's additional benefit from buying direct from Tesla or not. I know mine has a transferrable warranty. Maybe the impartial Tesla community can help me out with this one, and correct me anywhere I may have misstepped.

Tesla charge $7500 for the powerwall, $1000 for the gateway.
However, there is a 26% Federal tax credit, so $6200.

There is also sales tax and installation ($3000).
