Until I buy some new wheels, I opted to paint the Gemini wheels matte black. I did about 5-6 coats of the Krylon brand plastic dip. I ordered some midnight blue metallic paint so that I can paint the silver ring on the actual wheel to match the body.

Do the Gemini wheel caps and lug caps have to be removed to put the wheel covers back on? If so, how difficult is it to remove the wheel cap? I’m thinking I’d like to remove the covers for daily driving, but maybe put them back on for long trips.

Y Long Range - One with aero, one without and Tesla caps. I like it without.

I plan to buy snow tires and black wheels in a bit. Still recovering from purchase, charging outlet install, accessories (all weather mats, tire repair kit, jack pads, screen protector, and so on), $2,300 for PPF and front driver/passenger window tint, and upcoming plates and registration fees.

Interesting, how did you vinyl wrap them? Did you have to remove the wheels or tires? Any links for the parts you used? I love the look and would like to do the same. I'm also considering one of those rim curb rash protector.

I cut 3/4 inch wide strips 5 feet long. No need to remove the wheels or tires. It’s kind of a pain to minimize air bubbles, but the last wheel was certainly better than the first. Here is the product I used:

See above for the vinyl I used. I did 5 coats and did not use glossifier, but I think I will add that.
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I will be doing the same when I got the car. I hear glossifier is supposed to add an additional layer of protection to the plasti-dip and also gives it a nice shine. Please post pics if/when you get it done. You did a good job so far :D
