Tesla Charge Connector Gen 1 with J1772 plug and 3 adapters (aka UMC, Tesla)

Selling a Gen 2 Tesla UMC that has been converted to have a J1772 connector. Comes with the zipper bag and three outlet adapters (NEMA 5-15, NEMA 14-50, and NEMA 14-30). I had it converted in January 2019 because my brother had purchased a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and we wanted to charge it at it's max. It was used 2.5 years for it with no issues, but he traded the Pacifica in and we don't need it anymore. Since it's J1772, it will work with any plug-in hybrid or EV sold in the USA (including Teslas with their included J1772 adapter). I'm looking for $300 and willing to ship it.

Note: I also have a Gen 1 Tesla UMC with a J1772 that I've been using to charge my Model 3 when I visit my Dad. That one is not for sale, but thought I would point it out that I got the Tesla plug changed out on that one as well to a J1772. Now that we don't have the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, I don't really need the J1772 plugs on them, but they still work on the Tesla with the J1772 adapter.

Is the UMC2 or UMC still available?

Hello. I was wondering if you could tell me where you went to get the mobile connector converted, or did you do it yourself?

I had a Gen 2 (sold on this thread) and a still have Gen 1 that were converted to J-1772 instead of the Tesla plug in order to be able to use them on my Tesla and my brother's Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. I did not convert them myself because I did not have and did not want to buy a special crimping tool to get the pin connections tight. I had them converted through two different businesses as follows:

Gen 1 UMC (sold on this thread after my brother got rid of his Pacifica) was the one that came with my Model 3 and I sent it to umc-j1773.com for the conversion. They are the ones that make and sell the TeslaTap adapter. The conversion was done in August 2019 and cost $200 plus shipping to and from them (about $250 in all).

Gen 2 UMC (still use it occasionally when I visit my parents) was purchased already converted from qccharge.com, who are the ones who make and sell the Jesla and Jdapter. I purchased it in December 2018 for $500.

You can try contacting either of those two businesses to see if they will convert yours or will sell you a converted UMC, and what they charge. I might still end up selling my converted Gen 1 UMC eventually and replace it with one that has the Tesla plug again, since I don't ever plan on getting a non-Tesla.

I really appreciate the detailed response!
