Hello Folks, Just got my MSM YLR VIN assigned. From what I see, it's an Austin make. Any one has a good checklist etc for what needs to be verified at delivery?
Also what do I need from Tesla for doing an auto loan?

Coming out of Austin, I dont think that VIN is too low....they are still ramping, so all the numbers are on the low side. Just my guess...no real info though.

Took Delivery yesterday afternoon. F519 still has old doors with the white siding. Everything looks good. It’s taking a while to calibrate but so far so good. Oh also came with mobile charger with 5-15 plug and a J1772 adaptor.

Finally picked it up on Monday, August 22 at Kennesaw. I am still learning to drive the car but feeling more confident. The accessory ordering has already begun and most of it should arrive in the next couple of days. On our way back home from a conference last Sunday, we stopped by Kennesaw to see if it was in the lot and indeed it was. We noted a rock chip on the passenger side taillight (damaged in transit), but it was gone when we picked up the car. Everything else was perfect. Perhaps they changed the light assembly on Monday morning??? The delivery process was flawless, and Spencer spent a few minutes with us setting up driver preferences and explaining some of the settings. He encouraged us to experiment and just have fun with it. So far, so good.

However, I am curious why the charging stats show up in the "other" category instead of the "home" category since we use the Tesla Wall Charger, and the car knows it is home. Ideas????

Got a quote from Doctor Detailing Protective films and coating: $1600 for full front PPF and $1100 for ceramic coating.
Also waiting for a friend to share the contact of a person who charged $500 and did the ceramic coating in his garage.

Still not sure if I can do the ppf by myself.

Got the full front PPF done at AP3. They did a great job. $1850

Didn’t do the ceramic coating but may at some point down the road.

Unfortunately our EDD got pushed yesterday, 7/26. Old EDD was 8/1-8/15 and now it’s 9/21-10/26, so roughly a 7 week push, and the 2 week window is now a 5 week window, which kinda sucks.

And for reference we’ve got 2/8/22 Order date, MYLR, White/black, Tow, 19" wheels, FSD

Just got assigned our VIN yesterday, ahead of last predicted schedule by several weeks! Austin build, serial # 010046!

Financing question: Has anyone else used Adelfi? They offered the best rate but now Tesla is saying they may not be ELT compliant. If anyone else has used Adelfi, that would help us understand if we're able to move forward with them.

I am scheduled to pick up my MYLR in Alpharetta this weekend.

Can someone confirm that Tesla will take care of the registration and all the paperwork (like the dealership normally would)? I assume I can drive off with MYLR with a temporary license plate and either Tesla or DMV will mail the permanent plate via mail? And then I have to go to the local DMV and swap it with AFV?

Can someone please confirm? Thank you

Yes, we signed the registration/tag paperwork at delivery and Tesla took care of it all. Temporary tag on vehicle at delivery. Permanent plate received in the mail 2 weeks later.

I used them and the process was pretty easy. I liked the fact that they are nationwide. The other credit unions I looked into had some restrictions on where you lived. When I spoke to them they were saying they were flooded with Tesla loans, so I guess there are others using them too.

EDD just got bumped back to a to a 4 week window I'm now worried. thought with the trade in call I would be getting a VIN within a week. This is not encouraging.

I thought when I paid for my Tesla, the final payment for the car included all the taxes and fees. Was tag fee or alternative fuel vehicle fee not included? Did anyone else receive a bill from the DMV after purchasing their Tesla?

Perhaps the special EV road tax? Since ICE cars pay road tax through gasoline they added like a 200 dollar something fee for EVs to cover "our" portion.
