Georgia sales tax on FSD

I'm considering add FSD. It's my understanding that Georgia sales tax should not be charged on software that is digitally downloaded and not delivered on tangible media, yet Tesla is attempting to charge me $890 sales tax. Is this taxable? Any idea how I can get it corrected?

Yes. It's taxable like buying a video game off of Playstation or any other platform. Not sure about Georgia tax laws, but try to buy something digital online and see if you get taxed.

I am not taxed for other digital downloads (e.g., from Amazon). According to Georgia Rule 560-12-2-.111(4), "Computer software delivered electronically is not a sale of tangible personal property and therefore is not subject to sales or use tax." And they're not charging tax for the Acceleration Boost option.
