Getting bogged in a Model S

Well today we got bogged in loose sandy soil. We have a block of rural land and we usually drive around the paddock off-road with very high suspension with no problem. Today I got onto some soft sandy soil on a bit on an incline upwards and the next minute the wheels were slipping and digging in. I have a single motor 85. The base of the car seemed to bottom out on the soil and it was difficult to control the torque to the wheels. We had to dig out the soil from beneath the car and get a tow out from a Toyota Prado. After breaking a cable and a few ropes we got a heavy duty tow rope from RAA roadside assistance. It also seemed to help to put the car into jack mode in very high suspension. On the positive side I did learn where the towing hook is and how to attach it.
