Could make sense that GF3 was already built with Model Y in mind and would be easy to start producing there compared to Fremont location. But this month? And they just starting to make model 3 there. There has to be a reason to madness
China is a huge market. Tesla may build another GF there in a few years.. It has government subsidized loan, subsidized land... cheaper labor.. etc. It will be a matter of time that we will buy Tesla exported from China.
