chances are essentially zero for march, near zero for April and very very very low until who knows, late summer? It will take a long time for them to ramp up.

If you defer they may push you to the back of the line.

You can hold for around 6 months. I guess vin should be reassigned in that case.. And that'll give you time till July

This is false, you can no longer hold for this long, max is 30 days. If you don't accept delivery after your hold period ends.. it is subject to cancellation

I have heard 90 days. You heard 30 days. Is this info also from an SA. I don't find it anywhere on the Tesla site and we all know how unreliable SA info is.

This is confirmed by an SA (30 days) they ended the 90 days late last year. Also if you follow the threads closely, you will notice a trend of holds only being 30 days now.

Once you take an order off hold, do you know if it usually stays at the front of the queue and would get a VIN pretty soon?

From what i've seen on this thread it varies, some get it within days some within weeks. You don't get placed in the back of the line again though

If I recall, from the situation someone posted about, it was MAX 30 days but with Manager approval. In that post, person only was given a 2 week hold.

Man remember when everyone here fell for that fake Austin VIN? Like did we honestly believe any car coming out of Austin would have a vin of 395383 and not something more indicative of a just opened factory like 000100 or something haha

We had our YP on a 30 day hold which ended on 3/30. We received our F vin this morning for delivery 4/20-4/26.

We are not even sure about MYLR.

All indications is the MYs out of Austin will initially be the standard range variants.
