When will Tesla Gigafactory 3 produce 10,000 vehicles per week?

They said in three years first cars will be manufactured.
Ramp to 10,000 a week should be a well understood process by then.

Elon time versus Chinese time (they get things rolling quickly) should cancel out, so sometimes in 2021 first cars; 10,000 a week shortly after.

I think the more interesting question is how Tesla will ramp up production. I'd love to see GF3 assemble kits within thr next 12 months. Then increasingly more content in the kits can ramp up. Ultimately full manufacturing can done in GF3. So the ramp up is not so much in terms of the production of final units, but in terms of the fraction of components for final units produced at GF3.

Maybe 2024. The more important question is when it will produce 5000 vehicles per week. Hitting that volume before 2022 will be doing good.

Side note: I think we should start calling Gigafactory 3 the Dragon Gigafactory. The Nevada Gigafactory is the Wild Horse Gigafactory, and the New York Gigafactory is the Buffalo Gigafactory.
