The Supercharger is in the middle of a very high security construction site, but if Fremont is any indication, once the factory opens it's a possibility.

Do we have an idea if the build is the size of the width or the length of the final building? It is hard to get an idea of the scale of this.

For someone who knows; what are those studs or pins that are attached to the Q-Deck panels? How are they attached?

Those are shear studs, they are installed to secure the metal decking to the tops of the joists, trusses or steel beams.
They aid structural rigidity and allow greater mechanical attachment for the yet to be poured concrete.
Studs are attached with through-deck welding.
This type of structural system is called composite construction, with all the steel being in tension, excellent structural solution for long-span construction.

I grabbed this from TEG's post on Oct. 30, 2014.
Cowboy Stadium (only thing I can relate equivalent size to) is about 1/4 mile from end of truss to end of truss, so Gigafactory building is over 3/4 mile long, probably over 1/4 mile wide.

(And I don't see the banana.)
