Give car to service center = get back in worse condition?

Sooooo... I expected to have at least one service based on research but definitely did not expect to get my car back in worse condition than when I dropped it off. The car was left filthy with the headliners (The front one needed to be replaced ) stained with greasy hand prints, the speaker grill damaged on the door panel and the rear bumper not reattached properly. They also chipped the paint on one of the doors. Seems extremely unprofessional and is easily the worst experience I've had with auto service in my life. I was shocked they gave the car back to me in this condition.

This was at the SODO Seattle service center. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Does Tesla care if you escalate this type of unprofessional service to leadership?

I immediately created a new service appt at the Lynnwood service center while picking up my car. I could not stay to have them address the issues or document them as they were all too busy and my 10 month old son was with me who was at his limit.

That said, still love the car so what the hell... I guess there's not much I can do...

Tweet Elon Musk that Tesla needs to hire car detailing professionals. I used to drive a Ford Escort and Toyota Prius and they all gave me a great detailing car wash service each time.
The Tesla SC near me has never washed the car in over a year now and I've been in multiple times. Due to COVID, blah blah blah...here is your car.

Getting "greasy hand prints" on the headliner is a little odd. I thought one of the major benefits of an EV was that it didn't involve much in the way of grease - or other dead dinosaur products

I'm not doubting you, just think it should be possible to work on an EV and then be able to go immediately to a fashionable nightspot

That's too bad. I have had nothing but amazing service at SODO. Renton was the one I wasn't happy about. I've also heard great things about Bellvue and there is a new Fife location opening up in a few months.

Hope that with the addition of other SC's, the techs won't feel so rushed to get cars in and out and can be a little more careful.

Post some pics.
