Will the humiliation ever end?!!!

I know that there were hybrids back in the early 20th century when they were trying every kind of car propulsion system possible, but to see the word "hybrid" being used in 1969 it is incredibly frustrating!

And the XP-883 is a PLUG IN! Can you imagine the technology we would be driving now if this one had gone into production back then?

A Stirling engine? One of the coolest inventions ever. How they mock us!

I can't help but think that these cars are sitting in a warehouse or parking lot somewhere...

And we thought Toyota was being so innovative with the Prius...
They just took some ideas that GM threw away and put them into production.
(Fixing all the little problems along the way)
