C'mon, I don't believe GM payed you. Is General Motors buying awards for Mary Barra?

This is what out legal system and press has morphed into.
I drove many of the Killer Key GM cars including the Cobalt SS and Camaros. There is no way that key turns itself off by bumping it with your leg.

So the class action teams put forth all the negative press possible, and the company puts out all the positive press possible.

Trivia:
Did the GM truck saddle tanks cause more deaths than the Ford or Dodge designs? No. Why did GM get the bill? They acknowledged the fire risk level and decided it was acceptable. Oh, and 20/20 was paid by the class attorneys to rig a fire with pyrotechnics for the news.
Ditto for the Ford Pinto rear tank. In fact, the VW beetle killed far more people from fires than any other car of that era. The Pintos had no more fire deaths than the Vega, it's other competitor.

You must research the reason for the stories, especially when they are innuendo.

Imagine going to GM in 1965 and saying "You know, in 2021 you will have a Superbowl commercial telling the world that you are upset with Norway for buying too many non GM electric vehicles..." I doubt they could have fathomed that ever happening. The whole situation feels preposterous.
