Going faster than Autosteer limit

I can be on a two lane state highway and the speed limit is 65, and Autosteer max is 70, but pushing the accelerator it will go to 90, but has a warning saying “cruise control will not brake, accelerator pedal is pushed” so it continues Autosteer and if you let off the pedal it will slow back down to 70....maybe this is a TACC thing and not autoSTEER?

Most of the time folks are doing this it's to use the system on a road it's not intended to be used on in the first place.

It does work as long as you don't exceed 90 and pay enough attention due to the fact you're effectively disabling TACCs auto-braking.

Also if a sharper turn comes up, autosteer may or may not be able to keep the car in lane (if the driver keeps overriding the throttle).

Yes, it is a TACC thing.
