Going for type1 to type 2 adapter

So I went for an adapter in the end to solve the problem of me having a type 1 on my wall charger.

Got it from here:

Type 1 to Type 2 32amp Converter with 0.3m cable

Fits nicely and now charging at 20 amps.

I know some people recommended I get the whole cable changed... but this avoided leccy fitting costs and it seems pretty secure? Any issue with using this longer term?

One benefit is it lets me charge any visitors with a PHEV with the type 1 sockets.

I picked up this adapter, again for the same reason that my PHEV visitors could continue to use the type 1 and I could also sell this on should I move to a house with a type 2 fitted.

I preferred that it was a bit more compact.

Type 1 > Type 2 Converter
That looks smart as well.

Sorry I posted wrong link to mine - I haf the 16A rated one...

Type 1 to Type 2 16amp Converter with 0.3m cable

Makes me wonder why the car is saying charging at 20 amp to be honest!?
