going from a 2021 Model 3 Long Range w/ FSD to a 2019 performance with FSD

Hi, having a dilemma here. I found a 2019 model 3 performance w/FSD with about the same miles (28k) as my 2021 LR with FSD/no AB+. Price difference may be between 3-5k depending on the dealers appraisal.

Is it worth it?

Will I be missing a lot of things that I have in 2021 LR? It has everything except the heated steering wheel, door accents, and new headlights. 11/20 build.

I guess I want to know if the speed of the performance will be worth losing all of the perks the 2021 refresh has.

I guess that depends on how often you go 0-60 and feel its lacking (and if you bought the acceleration boost already), or plan on tracking your car.

I had one. I wouldn’t. Just get the boost if you have not. I assume you have You can’t use that speed that often.

I was just in my friends new Model Y LR (without Boost) That thing had plenty of kick. And yours should be faster. My Model X has insane kick and your 3 LR should be similar.

You also get used to what you have.

many think the older model has poorer suspension, but this is up for debate. i noticed it immediately in same spec 3's, 2019 vs 2021. something to look for if you get to test drive.

Better battery and just get the acceleration boost as said above if you want more power.

Idk personally I'd rather keep my car with my miles then substitute it for someone else's. Who knows what they did for those 28k miles

I would explore the potential resale value of your current car and compare it to a new Model 3 instead.
