Google Maps not showing route during navigation

Don't know whether a software update broke this but....

Navigation on the Navigon screen works as before. Navigation stats and turn list appear on the Google Maps screen as before, Route highlight on the Google maps screen has disappeared. The map looks like it does when navigation is not underway. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes. I rebooted both screens and the navigation highlight returned.

Both times it happened to me was right after I parked in the sun on a hot day.

Don't know if that's related (and only after v1.51.96).

Returned to normal after reboot.

I think thats a bug fixed in the current release being deployed.

I had this, but it went away after a reboot.
If you scrolled to the destination, the flag was there, but just not the route

I have 5.11 and this happened to me a few days ago. Not only that, but half of the Navigon screen in the speedo was grayed out. I had to reboot both screens to get it working again.

I have 5.9 and this has happened twice now. In both cases, a reboot solved the issue, but annoying. Never happened before 5.9.

This bug still seems to be out there - or at least a new mutant of it. Running 6.1 (2.2.115). On a road trip yesterday, the route displayed on the Google Map did not correspond to the turn by turn directions, which was the better route initially. Also, lost the colored traffic indicator highlights when Nav was active. It would reappear if I cancelled navigation. A reboot once I was home seems to have fixed the issue.

This has happened in releases prior to 115 or even 6. Rebooting fixes it, until the next time.

I was seeing the same thing this weekend, but when I zoomed out to the next level the route was highlighted. If I zoomed back in, the highlight disappeared again. I didn't try rebooting.

I think so too. I experienced a situation where the blue route on the Google map was only partially there. Big chunks of the route were missing, but other sections there. I've also seen it with the route entirely missing. Re-boot fixes it.

Yes I had the same issue occur to me yesterday in my S85 with the .115 firmware. Annoying.

I experienced the rendered route not matching the path that I chose, but I have
not seen that strange behavior recently, now on 2.2.167 software.
Model S85 autopilot.

I have had this issue early on. Rebooting the main screen and drivers screen (obviously when stopped) cured the problem. I was a bit freaked out when it started, but this was an easy fix.

I've had all of the above issues during my trip up to the bay area, I'm on 61.2.2.167. Just received an update to install, maybe this is fixed and gives my autopilot!
