another create demand idea - when/if Tesla ever needs to create more demand
Use Murray design goals for this "drivers car" - only using the Roadster 2020.
lighter -> 300 mile range? also might opens up more space for storage? T.50 ~1000 kg
    you get the idea.

Gordon Murray has many interesting ideas and vehicles.

I prefer this Gordon Murray design - more attainable. I think it would've sold if Yamaha built it.

Yamaha new electric motors (internet searches will yield many results) Yamaha Motor Begins Accepting Orders for High-performance Electric Motor Prototype —Customized units to be produced rapidly for cars and other vehicles— - News releases | Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.

It will be interesting to see IF Yamaha & Honda come out with light weight, low cost, 3 wheel electrics.
could have low speed option for city use 45mph = 70kph top speeds - (lower speeds safer in a crash)

Honda management may tend to protect ICE motorcycles and autos? Honda are buying Sandy Munto reports.

Yamaha - can they be bold enough? Perhaps being a supplier is enough for them?
Honda has NSX and Yamaha could have the above as a halo car - could electrify?

It is well worth your time to investigate Yamaha web-site - they even make robotic systems & parts.

side note [from above @Takumi link] : Sport Ride Concept is from 2015

Astonishing discipline and purity in design goals. And also that he drives a (250hp) Alpine and used it as reference speaks to how much dynamics and feel is more important than outright speed.

If anyone knows or can point me to the explanation of GMA's mermaid logo, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

With its device to pull air from underneath the car to create downforce, it could have been a Dyson sports car.
