Got a new, white Model 3, and the quality is dreadful [Humor: Model 3 toy]

I had read on the Internet about the quality of Model 3 paint etc, and but this is worse that I could ever have imagined.

Now, before anyone says I shouldn't have accepted the car if it was in such bad shape, know this: I didn't have a choice to accept or reject the car as it was just delivered and left outside my garage.

To be fair, I got a great deal on it (just under $3), but still.. do you think this requires a SC visit, or do I just live with it?

1.) There's clearly a massive paint chip in the front passenger door - in the white paint. How the delivery specialists didn't see it is beyond me.

2.) I don't recognize those wheels as having been sold on any other Model 3. I was expecting Aeros. Do you think the delivery specialists just swapped out the wheels and hoped I wouldn't notice?

3.) The headlights look really bad, and are clearly mounted off-center.

4.) There's also clearly front bumper damage in the paint. Looks like it was bottomed out on some steep driveways before making it to my house.

5.) I haven't even been able to get into the car to check the interior. I'm dreading what I might find.

6.) The Tesla logo on the hood is far too close to the front of the car, and slightly off-center? HOW did the factory miss this?

7.) The factory over-sprayed the white paint onto the mirror glass, so they're essentially non-functional at this point. I think this is why I can't get into the car, as it appears the factory sprayed the door handles with white paint, too. This is probably why the door handles don't work, sigh. Who authorized that?

And don't even get me started on there being no wipers... in Seattle where I REALLY need them. How did this pass QA testing?

So, do you think I have a right to be grumpy about this, or am I just overreacting? S1RrZs28RjinWvl9%BbJEw.jpg 0lFU8jXrR9OMB87Dk6eIqQ.jpg vhYFc72iT8WxL7YeOZLLxA.jpg

Just take it to a detailer for paint correction and PPF, it should only be a few thousand dollars.

$250 for a toy car? For that price it better not have any body panel gaps! Where’s my tape measure?

@WilliamG's is the Hot Wheels Model 3, if you can find it, they are under $2.

So this is how Tesla is going to make its delivery numbers?

Mass produce hot wheels from GF3 and call it a quarter?

    OMG!

I just noticed the car has no brakes! I know regenerative braking does its job well, but NO brake calipers at all? Come on now...

Considering you can't get in to drive it to the SC, I'm not sure how they'll fix these issues. Although I think I'd prefer those wheels over my Aeros.
