So this happened today , I was going Down the road & this smart ass decided to take a left turn from my left side probably on her phone and she didn’t even hit the brakes until after the collision happened, hit me on my drivers side with speed 25-35KM/hr at the time of collision…

I’m still terrified after almost 8 hrs, it’s a 2022 model 3 standard range with 20K miles , what do you think of the cost estimate or is this a total loss? Anyone experienced with a similar experience who can help me with this? Thank you

Btw both front and back doors are severely damaged although the front one looks ok in the pics

So sorry, it's never great to be in an accident for any party involved. Be glad you are ok and the car did it's job. That said, I don't see any serious frame damage, looks like the two doors took the most of the impact and the lower frame is still straight. My guess is that this is pretty repairable and they will just replace your doors, maybe front fender. You won't really know until you take it in but that's my 4 picture estimate. Edit: For estimate, I'm guessing 8k to 10k but that's a hard one.

Glad everyone is ok! For reference this was repaired. Cost was about 21k. Most of the impact was to the front wheel though so basically entire front left suspension was replace, front fender and both door skins.

Hahaha seriously? I had my bumper replaced, a headlight, and a mirror and it was 6k after labor. This car is totalled.

I worked in an auto shop doing autobody work for 5 years while going to college, you don't total a car for two door skins (maybe full doors, hard to say), a fender, and paint. I just had my model 3 repaired after getting rear ended. New bumper, bumper frame, trunk hatch, lights, frame extensions. Cost 12k. That was 4 months ago. If he has frame damage then all bets are off, but if not, it's very repairable. The glass is all still intact, looks like no airbags so the impact must have been more glancing down the side. If the door frames are not bent you can just re-skin them. A lot might depend on the shop you take it to also, here in WA we have shops that only work on Teslas, they have all the parts already in stock and they paint one color every day on all the cars that color. We'll see what the OP comes back with, I'm curious.
