Got invitation for M3 config. 7/18/16 reservation date in NJ

I was surprised yesterday that i got invited to config my M3. I made reservation 7/18/16 and just became a MX owner 2months ago and lives in NJ.
I was expecting April the earliest from the estimator. Im holding my place for AWD for now. if the tax credit is about to expire, i may have to jump in to get one asap. Good thing is i don't lose my ability to order current version.

This either means the production has ramped up or many current owners are waiting for other options

Pretty much means that because you became an owner, you got the invite.... You got to jump ahead of non-owners that that waited in line or online ordered before you placed your rez.

thats right. what really surprised me was that the estimate a few days ago was April-June for first production version.
