GPS screen like MS screen

I want a gps device that gives GoogleEarth or at least a good road map as much like my MS (w/o nav) as possible.

Use a Smartphone. You can install Google Earth, or just use Google Maps on the Smartphone, which is just what Tesla uses.
How to find coordinates on Google Maps on the mobile app

1. Open the Google Maps app on your iPhone or Android phone.
2. Enter the location, or select and hold to drop a pin on the map of the location you want the coordinates for.
3. Scroll down to find the coordinates.
4. Tap the coordinates to copy to your phone's clipboard.

Thanx for the tip.

Apple Maps prg gives a 'full screen' display if held vertically, so all I need apparently is to mount it on the car's dash. Question is will it stay ON continuously if plugged in. I will research Amphetamine for iPhone/iPad. Gives a blue pulsing circle vs Tesla's red arrow.

If iphone7 is held horiz then left half of screen is clogged with search stuff.

So likely an iPad will do the same and make for a 17in simulation on my Subaru dash.

On Android, with Google Maps tapping the map makes the search stuff disappear. Also, it is full screen either portrait or landscape orientation. Whether it stays on all the time or not should be an option under the phone settings, Display section.
