I am studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at National Technical University of Athens (5-year-diploma) and I like very much to study and to learn sciences (from technology and modern sciences to mathematics and ancient Greek sciences).

Firstly, I want to ask you which books do you suggest me for studying about Power Electronics and Electric Machinery (for beginners).
What is your opinion for these?
1) Modern Power Electronics and AC Drivers, Bimal K. Bose?
2) Analysis of Electric Machinery and Drive Systems, Paul C. Krause, Oleg Wasynczuk, Scott D. Sudhoff?
