Tesla Motors Club

I would like to say hi to all members of this forum as well as the entire club. Allow me to introduce myself. I am a 48 year old IT Director for a Private Junior College in Puerto Rico. I am fascinated by the advances made in the electric car industry. I am surprised of the price for a Telsa. I expected it to sell for more. A corvette in Puerto Rico (PR) runs for more than $100K but I also suppose bringing a Telsa here would cost a couple of dollars yet it seems it would still seem a competitive option. If anybody knows someone here in PR who has a Telsa or has ordered one I would like to know.

I know very little about this concept but I'm very curious and ansious to see the evolution of this approach to our energy and environment crises.
