It seems to say "Derwood, MD" (Maryland) on the listing not Missouri...

Kevin, he's right up the road from us. Maybe we should go take a look.

I think a lot of early sellers are overpricing their Roadsters.
I would be surprised is any Roadster goes for more than $109,000 at this point. I don't think the first model year deserves "classic car" premium yet.

Anyone ordering now would get Roadster 2.0 and only have a 5 or 6 month wait. It would have the upgraded interior and likely be able to actually achieve 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds.

For a first year model to get a premium would require a Tesla bankruptcy and halt in production. Then I believe all of them would obtain instant collectable status and have a premium similar ot the RAV4 EV.

The RAV4 EV has sort of lost it's premium on Ebay in the past year because we are getting closer to more production EVs on the road. But I doubt anyone would attempt another Tesla Roadster caliber EV for a long time if Tesla goes bankrupt.

The 2010 Roadsters are made cheaper (for Tesla) than the 2008 cars.

Make what you will of that.

From where I sit, I think they are both improving the car and reducing the costs at the same time. Having some previously included things become optional does make the earlier cars seem like a bargain though.
