Huh, my wifey super-duper-hairdryer does not trip our breakers anymore.
I have added Grid Monitoring = Load Detection & Speed Lowering to our chargers.
You can update it to the newest version of firmware via USB (v2.10 adds also balancing option).
How does it work?
A simple example with water kettle fighting for power against my Accelev 2phase->1phase charger
(BTW this 2phase->1phase is for EU owners of USA Tesla cars, to double the charging speed if you have 3-phase power source at home).
The kettle is connected to one of the power phases.
Using this function, I can charge from 3phase socket 16A breakers with a max speed of 7,2 kW/h without any doubt - charger slows down when needed.

I did the same for simple 32A single-phase charger, and it works too.
Tell me what do you think?

Hi,

I got accelev one phase version and I am doing balancing. I observe that grid monitoring isn't active with balancing? Is that on purpose? I charged with balancing overnight and it went down to 1kw charging and never went up again.
