If you could get Titan to tweak their forging dies to accept genuine Tesla black wheel caps (the kind used on 19" and 20" wheels), I think you would hit 400+ orders in 1 months. This titan wheels looks almost identical to the 18" aero wheel, the main difference being that the aero wheels has tubular tangs vs. this wheel which has square tangs. Does an order of 40 mean 40 sets (160 wheels) or 10 sets (40 wheels)?
This would be cool, but may increase the price... I will ask...

I thought they did fit the caps since they are custom made for Model 3. Do they not?

Fellow TM3ers,

Here's the 8 Max Summer Tires I'm choosing from.
Thx Bugger for pointing out my error on the above link

Finally, I'm no expert on tire sizes and I think that 245/40/19 would fit perfectly
on the Titan 7 T-S5. 19"x9" +35
Please address what the ideal tire size should be for these forged wheels
I was wondering why not put 245/40 19 on 19x8.5 rim since the tire is rated for 8-9.5 wide rims. Wouldn't that make the overall weight lighter and also provide a little more sidewall protection against rim rash.

I'm holding out for Techna Bronze, who's with me!
Also I think it will look good on white, not as good as on red but...?

Great video and awesome to see so much progress already on this platform.

They do talk about it needing more tire up front during the track portion.

I’m leaning toward 19x9.5 square as a track/auto-x setup and then having a daily driver setup with factory 8.5.

I looked at the 275 width section but the tire selection is not nearly as good as the 265. I think I'll be sticking with the 265.
This size fits on both the 19x9 and 19 x 9.5, not sure which I'd choose if both were available tomorrow, probably the 9.5.

It sounds like it'll be a few months yet before these are available, I am curious how the bronze color effects that, looking more I'm leaning more and more to bronze. I think I'd have to do the chrome delete to really set off the bronze though.

Not sure blue, chrome and bronze would work, I think the blue, chrome and titanium silver would look nice though. Blue, black and bronze is definitely a winner. https://insideevs.com/wp-content/up...wheels-adv1-bronze-range-extending-rims-a.jpg
Though that is a darker bronze than shown above I like it especially with the blacked out trim and tint.

THough that is a darker bronze than shown above I think.
You make a good point about the chrome and bronze, something I had not considered before but it does seem to clash, oh well I better play it safe with the Titanium as I have no intention of doing a chrome delete.

I think the lighter satin bronze of the Titan 7 would be less clashing. Maybe someone with photoshop skills will show us what it looks like. That dark bronze really looks slick next to the blue and black though. Its not just for Subies!

I also am leaning away from chrome delete, as I think especially around the door handles and power mirrors it will be troublesome.Plus after the full PPF wrap my budget will be tapped and the PPF is more important.

Do we know if the 18" version of either style would clear the performance upgrade brakes?

Also, when are these expected to ship?

Thanks!

I'd like more details on custom finishes as well, Seems like we are easily at 10 sets so far, next maybe we can see what finish options we have. I only see 2 options on the website, Titanium silver and Machine Black. I assume there would be an up charge for other colors, but curious what that up charge would be.
