This item from the weekly ACORE members news update:

H.R. 3308 - Energy Freedom and Economic Prosperity Act, introduced by Representatives Pompeo (R-KS) and Labrador (R-ID), repeals the PTC and numerous other renewable energy tax incentives, including: (1) investment tax credit (ITC); (2) cellulosic biofuel producer credit; (3) tax credit for plug-in electric and fuel cell vehicles; and (3) tax credits for alternative fuels and infrastructure. In addition, the measure also repeals the enhanced oil recovery credit and credit for producing oil and gas from marginal wells. It is virtually impossible that this legislation would be enacted into law this Congress, but it does reflect a continued Congressional interest in energy incentives.

This could pretty much fit in the anti-EV gibberish thread. Anything issued by the current House of the Insane isn't going to be anything but a negative bill furthering oil interests.

What, no repeal of federal gasoline subsidies?
