Picked up new 2021 Model 3 LR MSM from Burbank today. Paint and panel fitment all great!
One question; having owned Lexus and Infiniti vehicles it seem the doors need to be closed with more force than I am used to; Normal?

My wife picked up a model 3 in Sep and the doors were hard to close for a bit. Now they are fine. Might just be a break in thing for the latches or something.

Some cars have manufacturing issues with either the door, latch, or frame. I would make sure it isn't one of these issues: Master thread: Delivery issues (panel gaps, delivery delays / issues / problems etc)

My delivery is tomorrow and if doors don’t close properly I will not be taking delivery of the car. It’s $50k of my money. I definitely will make sure the car is in ok shape.

One of the reasons I don’t like those “checklists” that go around. I’d rather spend the time getting acquainted with the staff at my service center. I introduce myself, treat them with respect and trust them to have my back. They haven’t let me down yet.

I tend to agree, the glass makes very firm contact with the weather stripping and it may break in. Drove about 100 highway miles today and the car is very quiet and zero squeaks or rattles. The paint is also done very well. I got lucky
