I think the grey roadster has a black hardtop.
The electric blue roadster has a twilight blue hardtop.

I heard that carbon fiber hardtops won't be available until this summer.

The first two are just black hardtops. First on Electric Blue, then on Silver. The last photo is an old shot of an Electric Blue hardtop on VP1 (Signature Green). I think the painters tape was just for fun and to get a sense what the car might look like with stripes. (This was from well before any of the production cars.)

As a MINI owner I like the contrasting color roofs....Our Tesla will have a CF hardtop roof and Very Orange exterior color. Now I do agree with the concept of the BRG and Elec. Blue....but maybe not the color choice...I hope it is right for the owner.

Well turns out in this case the purpose is not aesthetics, just the simplest way to transport a hardtop up the street.

That actually looks pretty good. Gives me hope for the look of the Carbon Fiber tops when they start arriving.
