I hardwired a Uniden R3 by tapping the power via the lower-left kick panel. I noticed that whenever I turn on the climate control remotely, such as to cool down the car before I get in, the R3 does not power up automatically as it normally does.
Not sure why. Anyone else seeing this? Trying to decide if it is the radar detector or the wiring.
