The firm said it will shift production of motorcycles for EU destinations from the US to its international facilities to avoid the tariff burden.

I'll leave it for others to comment, but personally if I were to buy a Harley (electric ofc) I would buy it for the heritage and want it to be built in the US of A

There's a reason tariffs don't work. Unless your goal is to hobble the global economy, in which case they work great.

There's a reason tariffs don't work. Unless your goal is to hobble the global economy, in which case they work great.

In January HD announced closing an 800 employee plant due to declining sales BUT they were going to hire a 450 at another plant they were shifting production to so that is a net loss of 350 not 800 and was blamed on declining sales which was before Trump really dove into trying to level the playing field on trade.

Tell that to Trump's economic advisor, Peter Navarro. His theory is that ever $1 in imported products is a $1 loss to GDP. Every other economist in the world call him "Peter Rabbit."

That's generally in line with the cheetos policy of appointing people to jobs ironically... I'm honestly surprised that the NASA administrator isn't a 'flat earther'...
