I never felt this way. It's just a badge. The actual performance speaks volumes.

I don't care for the look of the badge that much, but the spoiler is a physical item that was paid for in the performance upgrade package.

Yeah, and that sucks. The problem that I have is that they never advertised it as not being available for what's going on 5+ months. The wording, as I recall, was that the spoiler and pedal covers would be installed at the service center at time of delivery. They should make the spoiler optional, and allow it to be deselected and save $1k on the package. And then, if we want to buy it later, make it available for $1500 or something.

Wouldn't want it to be the same as:

I had an appointment to get mine installed earlier this week and when I showed up, they told me: "Sorry, it was a miscommunication, your appointment is just for the badge."

Same here. I feel the badge was completely unnecessary. The spoiler I absolutely want.

i called them initially to inquire about my replacement undercarriage that was ripped off a couple months ago. i asked about the spoiler and they said that they are in and they can do that at the same time, but after that post i'm a bit worried. hoping for best.

First few installs ended up looking like *sugar* and wasting a $1500 part.

That blows my mind that a little lip spoiler is $1500 on a model 3. I guess I will wait for the couple hundred dollar knock offs on eBay soon to follow. I kind of just want one sprayed to match the car anyways, not cf.

here's my TSportline CF spoiler, on the XPel Stealth wrap (spoiler wrapped too).

it's probably pretty close to the Tesla one.

TSportline looks lot better than the RPMTesla one, but I think Tesla's OEM spoiler is still best. I'd still rather pay $1000 for an OEM spoiler than $150-$700 for the 3rd party ones.

The Tesla one matches the curve and lip of the trunk perfectly while the TSportline stops short and shows the big V.

Driving home just now I saw a car carrier with 2 Performance 3's with spoilers. No way to know if they were going to be demo cars though.
