Has anybody mounted a Gen 3 Wall Connector inside their garage, and run the cable under the garage door for charging in the driveway?

We have two Teslas and ran into similar problem.

This RV cable hatch worked great alongside the 24’ Tesla wall connector. The connector fits through perfectly.

We are renovating, so garage is full of appliances and lumber. Y is parked outside and I run the cable out with garage door closed all the time. You’re good.

me too, just put a wood blocks with thickness somewhat larger than the cable, next to cable and it will be alright.

I haven't had any problems at home but found the cable sheathing was crushed locally when I ran it under the door at my daughter's house. I added a piece of sheet metal to my mobile charging kit, to lay over the cable in those situations.

I use an old broom handle that's a little thicker than the wire. put it next to, but not touching, the wire and close the door so most of the weight is on the handle and not the wire. Idk if it actually does anything, but makes me feel better.
