Has anyone done the ceramic coating to the white seats?

Not necessary. The seats already have coating from the factory which is why they clean so easily.

That's honestly good to hear. My other car has light beige seats and isn't coated. It turns quite blue from my jeans. It cleans off pretty easily though with just a damp cotton towel. I should probably add that I tend to wear darker blue jeans more often than lighter. The jeans that I have that are older, worn in, and lighter don't transfer dye on anything.

I wear dark blue jeans often and started to notice some light transfer on my white seats < 1K miles in. Cleaned it with some water and soap and then applied 2 coats of Gyeon leather shield. No more color transfer as of yet ~2K miles.

strongly recommend ceramic coating if you have white seats. cleans up easily.

It just helps to keep your seats clean and easier to wipe off. Apply these the same way you would apply on your paint.
Different company has a different but it's generally the same stuff. Try looking on amazon or google.

Mine has been holding up very well over the past year or so. I forget if I'm supposed to re-apply it every six months, but I haven't. Then again, I haven't put a lot of miles on it over the past year either (~4k miles).

Holding up great, 2 years now and no stains. Always cleaned with baby wipes.

I would say that scenario would require more applications of Gyeon.

The seats are said to come with their own protective coating, so if you are wiping them regularly, you are going to wear through that coating. You'll need to reapply a protective coating on a regular basis.

Similarly, my first Model 3 hit 37k miles and the seats still looked brand new.

What TLLMRRJ says. I think the Gyeon provides yet another layer to help with making the seats easier to clean rather than outright preventing staining in the first place (though it may reduce how easily dye could transfer from your jeans for example). It's supposed to help prevent stains from setting in, but as you wipe, it'll wear off over time and require another coating for maintenance.

I’m glad this is being discussed because I want to ask the same question. This is a picture of my white rear seat on the day I collected my new car! I definitely need ceramic coating!

For me, it wouldn't hurt to do it. it's just around $60 for the Gyeon Leather Shield. At the very least it will save you from accidental staining and would make it a tad bit easier to clean. It's very easy to apply.

Hello, can ceramic coating be done in winter? I was thinking if it will cure dry in few hours since its cold. Will keep windows open too for the smell to go off.
