Has anyone seen this orange blob?

I returned to Angel yesterday on a warm day to find there was a large throbbing orange blob on the screen. I did not see a message to explain it or a way to get it to go away. I rebooted and it didn't appear. Any ideas what this means?

Software glitch. Your Sentry Mode UI got "stuck" over the regular UI.
As you mentioned, this usually gets fixed by doing a quick two scroll wheel reboot.
