Has anyone taken a trip from chicago to miami ?

I am planning on taking a road trip to chicago to miami and back ands was wondering if anyone has completed this journey. Any problems? Comments ? suggestions ?

I'm also eager to read any responses since I travel between NE Florida and Chicago 3-4 times a year. I am still using my ICE for this as there is a supercharger desert along the most direct routes through IN, KY, and TN and I admit I am not patient enough to search for alternative charging sources although I know they exist. Thankfully, GA is now starting to show up on the SC map. If you want to stick strictly to a SC route, it looks like you'll have to go east to MD then down I-95 to FL.
