Has anyone used a Tire of a different size on their Tesla Model Y

That is 15% more sidewall height and 4% more width, I am wondering if it'll rub on full steering lock.


The wider tires are probably not helping with rolling resistance

I am considering a 245/55R19 - It is 0.4" narrower, is 1.6" taller. The Circumference increases by 5" or 5.7%. The taller sidewalls might soften the ride and increase in circumference means that I would travel further per revolution and might help to overcome range loss due to the stickiness of the tire...

MikeHolliday: Going to a 245 will increase the amount of Gemini/Apollo rim that juts out from the tire. Check out this thread...
