I always have to press down twice to close my frunk. The first time i hear some kind of actuator but it pops back up. The second time it locks and stays closed. Is this how everyones funk is?

No. I just have to push down really hard, until the hood bends under my two perfectly-positioned palms and spread fingers, distributing the enormous force equally. And then the hood sits about 3mm low, which gives a nice sleek underbite appearance. But it seems fine otherwise.
No. I lower the hood gently and using both palms like shown on the manual and press dow evenly and somewhat firmly. Never had a problem with it closing completely on the first try. Never dented the hood either. Think you should see if they can send mobile Tesla to fix for you.
